Our Story
Creatives feel alone in climate
We created the Sustainability Creatives community because we kept hearing the same thing over and over from creative climate professionals, recent grads, career switchers, ecopreneurs, and makers: "I feel alone on this journey."
So we began hosting events
In 2024, our small, but mighty team of female co-founders began hosting hands-on, interactive events designed specifically for creatives working in or transitioning into climate work.

To give creatives tailored support
These gatherings grew from founder Leah Mosier’s experience as a sustainability creative for clients like EDF, Stanford, and The Nature Conservancy. She knew how hard it was to build a career as a creative in climate—and set out to change that.

And we realized community is everything
Over the course of holding 100+ events, something beautiful happened—people opened up. They reflected, laughed, learned, collaborated, and grew. They told their stories and found themselves in each other’s. And that’s when it hit us: community isn’t a nice-to-have. It’s the foundation.
